Project Details

The project involved the Construction of Infrastructure and Utility works; the main elements being:

• Construction of Roadworks inclusive of excavation, filling sub-base, base and wearing course, top-soiling to edge of ROW and miscellaneous intersections and mediums.

• Construction of reinforced concrete culverts, box culverts, earthen drains and catchpits.

• Water reticulation inclusive of 100 mm and 150 mm P.V.C. Water Mains installation, gate valves, air release valves, washout assembly, disinfection, fire hydrant and lot connections to the Water and Sewerage Authority.

• Sewer installation inclusive of Gravity and Force Mains, manholes, cleanouts, road crossings, 100 mm, 150 mm and 200 mm P.V.C. pipes, wet wells, lift stations and submersible pumps.

• Construction and installation of electrical and telephone manholes and ducts.

• Slope Protection by construction of rip-rap protection of side slopes, entrances and exits to drainage channels.

Port Expansion

September 1997 - July 1999: Port Expansion – St. George’s, Grenada

Client: Grenada Ports Authority

Project Details

The project required the Rehabilitation of the existing Wharf structure and the addition of a new Wharfage area off the St. George’s Harbour. 

Specifics of the project were inclusive but not limited to the following:

v  Demolition and Removal of existing structures.

v  Excavation and Backfilling.

v  Dredge Operations.

v  Fabrication and Installation of Formwork for Cast-in-Place concrete.

v  Steel Sheet piling and other Steel reinforcement works.

v  Cast-in-Place concrete.

v  Armour stone and Geotextile placement.

v  Installation of Water line, Storm Sewer lines, Manholes and Catch Basins.

v  Installation of Security Fencing.

v  Installation of Asphaltic Slag Apron.

v  Installation of Interlocking Concrete Paving Stones.
